What is SURE STEP Non-Slip?
SURE STEP is a long-lasting chemical treatment that creates an invisible, sophisticated tread design into the surface of hard mineral floors and porcelain/enamel bathtubs. SURE STEP will not change the appearance of the floor or bathtub. It is NOT a film or coating so it will never crack or peel. Our product has been developed and proven for concrete, quarry tile, spanish tile, ceramic tile, glazed brick, marble, terrazzo, porcelain/enamel, and many other hard mineral surfaces. SURE STEP increases a surface's co-efficient of friction by 200-400% ... when wet! There is no downtime! you can use the floor or tub immediately following treatment. SURE STEP has been evaluated according to industry standards adopted by the American Society of Testing and Materials (A.S.T.M.). In accordance with A.S.T.M. Procedures C-1028-1894, SURE STEP creates a safe walkway surface on quarry tile and glazed tile in dry and wet conditions. (A static anti-slip coefficient of friction of .50 or above is considered a safe walkway surface with a dry condition.)
Here is a bathtub before treatment and after . Our products will also help clean your tubs and bring them back to their original shine, while also making them much safer. Those old anti slip patterns only collect dirt and stop working over time. With SURE STEP the entire base of the tub is treated and those dirt filled anti slip patterns are gone. No need for bathmats that collect fungus and mildew.
What's the difference between SURE STEP and traditional anti slip patterns?
This video shows how traditional anti slip patterns accumulate dirt and stop working. The front of the tub is treated with SURE STEP while the back part has the traditional anti slip. Sure Step gets rid of those dirt filled patterns, treats the entire base of the tub instead of just where the patterns are, and last for years.
Every year there are injuries due to slip and falls at home or in the workplace. SURE STEP is the product that will help lower that risk and help keep employees and homeowners safe.
